Important Note on CBD Crystallization
If you notice crystallization in your CBD oil, rest assured it does not affect the quality, safety, or efficacy of the product. Crystallization is a natural occurrence in high-purity CBD oils, especially at cooler temperatures. Simply place the bottle in warm water or hold it in your hands to gently return it to its liquid form. This process is normal and does not compromise the product in any way.

How much 50% CBD oil should I take?
How much 50% CBD oil should I take?
This differs with each person, taking into account weight, height, and reasons for taking cannabidiol oil. Initially, we recommend taking 1-2 drops of our 50% CBD Oil per use, and a maximum of 4 drops per day.
One drop of 50% CBD Oil contains approximately 21mg. Recommended dosages vary from country to country, depending on the regulations imposed in each region. In the UK, for example, the FSA recommends a maximum daily dose of 70mg; in Europe, the EIHA’s recommendation is much higher, while in the USA, CBD is unregulated by the FDA so there is no standardised dosage. Due to the heightened risk of experiencing adverse side effects when taking high doses above 70mg, we recommend that users start by taking a small amount of CBD daily, such as 10mg, and gradually increase their dosage until they find their sweet spot.
Not suitable for pregnant or lactating women. If you have a pre-existing medical condition or take prescribed medication, ask a medical professional before use.
What is high strength CBD oil?
What is high strength CBD oil?
CBD oil is available in a variety of strengths. As you might expect, high strength CBD oils contain more CBD per drop than weaker oils. As a result, they are more expensive and have a stronger taste. They’re also less suitable for beginners, who typically have low daily dosages more suited to lower strength oils. However, high strength CBD oils are more convenient and cost-effective for people with high dosages, because fewer drops are needed to reach the daily dose, so the bottle lasts longer.

CBD Oil FAQs
CBD Oil FAQs
Why does the potency of CBD matter?
The potency of CBD is important because it tells us how much CBD is contained in each drop of oil. The amount of CBD per drop will affect the number of drops you take to reach your dosage, as well as the cost of the oil and how long the bottle lasts.
What is the highest potency for CBD oils?
The highest potency for most CBD oils is 50%. At Naturecan, our 50% oil contains 5,000mg CBD per 10ml bottle or 15,000mg per 30ml bottle, with approximately 21mg CBD per drop. It’s called 50% CBD oil because CBD makes up 50% of the product, while other ingredients make up the remaining 50%, including minor cannabinoids and the carrier oil.
What are the different strengths for CBD oils?
CBD oils are often divided into three strengths: low, medium and high. Any oil below that’s 10% CBD or less is commonly considered low strength, while oils between 15% and 20% are considered medium strength, and those which are 30% and above are considered high strength CBD oils.
Which CBD oil strength is right for me?
Before you can find the right CBD oil strength for you, it’s essential that you’ve found your optimal daily dosage (UK maximum recommended dose is 70mg per day). You can do this by taking the “start low and go slow” approach, which involves starting with a low daily dose and increasing this gradually every three of four days until you find a dosage that works for you. Alternatively, you can use our CBD Oil Dosage Calculator to get a dosage that’s tailored to you and your needs in just one minute.
Once you’ve found your optimal daily dosage, you can use this to choose the CBD oil strength that’s right for you. In general, lower dosages (for example, below 20mg) are more suited to lower strengths (5-10%), while higher dosages (50-70mg) are more suited to higher strengths (30-40%).
How long does it take CBD oil to work?
As CBD oil is taken sublingually (under the tongue) you can begin to feel the effects of CBD quite quickly – usually within just 15 minutes. However, each person is different, so this can take as long as 60 minutes.
CBD oil is one of the most effective ways to take CBD, but if you’re looking for an immediate benefit you can vape CBD with specially created CBD Vape Juice.
Is 50% CBD oil the highest strength?
50%, or 5000mg CBD oil, is the highest strength CBD available. It delivers a huge boost of this all natural extract so you can reap the benefits with fewer drops and get maximum value for money.
Cannabidiol oil comes in all types of strengths, providing a great range of options to choose from depending on your individual requirements – from your reasons for taking and budget to frequency and familiarity with CBD. Explore our CBD oils below to discover the one that works best for you:
When is the best time to take CBD oil?
You can take cannabidiol oil at any time of day – it completely depends on what works for you.
It is non-intoxicating so can be taken in the morning without affecting your ability to function properly, while those looking for night-time support are best taking it just before going to sleep.
It's crucial to be aware that CBD has the potential to interact with various medications. Therefore, it's highly advisable to consult with a healthcare professional before initiating a CBD oil regimen to address any specific needs.
Is CBD oil legal?
CBD products are legal in Australia; however, they are strictly regulated and often require a prescription. If you're considering traveling outside of Australia, please be aware that legalities surrounding CBD products can vary widely from country to country. It is your responsibility to check the restrictions and laws of the country you are entering, as the legality of CBD products can differ. Always ensure you adhere to the local laws and regulations regarding CBD products when traveling internationally.
Will 5000mg CBD Oil (50%) show up on a drug test?
As Naturecan’s 50% CBD Oil guarantees non-detectable levels of THC (0.01%), it shouldn’t show up on a drug test. However, as it does contain trace levels of this compound, if enough THC is present in the body, it has the potential to present a positive test. It’s for this reason that many athletes avoid using CBD despite its perceived benefits.
Do you use Sativa or Indica?
We use sativa due to its naturally high levels of CBD and relatively low levels of THC. This helps us maximise the amount of CBD we can extract, while making it easier to filter out the unwanted THC to non-detectable levels (0.01%) across each of our CBD oil products.
